*RoDeO 2008*

So I don't know if anyone made it to the rodeo this week-end. But at the beginning of every night they did a flag presenting ceremony with this huge flag that was carried by, marines, army men, fire fighters, EMTs, nurses and teachers in the community. There was a giant tank that was driven to the center of the arrena and little kids who held flags. The flag was walked out to the arena and turned as they played Hero by Mariah Carey and held still while the National Anthem was sung. It was so amazing to be part of it one night with Tyler (firefighter) and my mom (nurse). We are all so lucky to have eveything we have in this country and to live in this beautiful town! I wish I had pictures of it in the audience, because I'm sure it looked awesome!
