Pachuca, Mexico {March 2014}

Day #1:

We took a really late flight out of Vegas on Friday morning, and my parents were there to meet us in the Mexico City Airport at 0600am. It was a good flight, and I couldn't have asked the boys to do any better. They were definitely tired, but troopers and slept most of the flight. When we got to Pachuca, we got showered and had a little nap time.

We enjoyed the house and hanging out for a few hours, and then we headed to the church for a baptism and ward party.

Day #2

Church time. We headed to a small "group" for church. There is not enough priesthood leaders to be a "branch". It was the sweetest little group of people, and it was fast Sunday so it was awesome to hear everyone share their testimonies, even though I couldn't understand a word. The spirit is amazing.

Day #3

We spent the morning at the Dino Parke that is located really close to my parents house. It was fun and beautiful weather, so you can't really go to wrong with that combo....

Day #4

Definitely had some laughs....my mom had heard about this "zoo". We wanted to go, we drove for what seemed like forever to even to get to it, and by the time we got there I think we had lost all interest, but we paid and entered the park. My dad asked the zoo how we get around, because the map had shown this long loop...and it seemed like it would be a long walk....she told us we could stay in our own vehicle or we could load on the Zoo's safari vehicle. Do we opted for our own.....

There were 9 phases that were separated by cattle guards, I guess to keep the different animals separted....I'm not sure who they were trying to sepatarate. There we ostriches, and donkeys and all kinds of animals in the same phases....The moment we pulled into the 1st part we were a little taken back when they all charged our car! But it was awesome.....
